Colin van der Lei (1988) is a Dutch composer / arranger / orchestrator working for film, game, tv and other media.
In 2014 Colin graduated his bachelor's degree with honors for Composition for the media at Utrecht School of the Arts. Next to his studies he has been working on composing music for numerous film and game projects, both Dutch and international.
After graduating Colin has composed, arranged and orchestrated music for several motion pictures, games, documentaries, TV programs and theater shows. He defined his acoustic style being mostly orchestral in combination with samples and electronics.
Colin has won multiple awards for his music and composed and recorded music with some of the worlds most famous orchestras, like the Metropole Orchestra.
Since 2018 Colin is part of ProjectSAM, one of the most respected orchestral sample development companies worldwide. Together they developed Symphobia 4: Pandora, the groundbreaking orchestral sample library first to make use of Adaptive Sync.
